There aren't pictures or words to describe Switzerland.... it was so beautiful and peaceful! We went to Lausanne, Geneva, and Zermatt. We took a boat ride across Lac Léman (Lake Geneva) passing quaint French and Swiss villages. In the Alps, we saw glaciers, alpine villages, wild flowers.... I don't feel that my scanned pictures do it justice, so I only put a couple up here.

Our first Europe train was a TGV... whoosh! This interesting rooster adorned engine was next to our train, bidding us adieu from Paris

Zermatt. Awesome.

A beautiful place! We enjoyed the company of mountain folk for a couple of days - 2 Swiss and 1 Coloradoan!

Skiing! woohoo!

I even met some Texans to skii with!
